I’m honoured to have been selected as your SNP candidate for Glasgow Cathcart & Pollok.

I grew up in care. I know what it means to worry about paying the bills, to choose between heating and eating, and to struggle to make ends meet.

That lived experience is what drives me to seek real change for Glasgow Cathcart & Pollok.

My grandparents made Scotland their home in the 1950s - first in Stornoway, then in Tarbert on the Isle of Harris - before our family later settled in the Southside of Glasgow in the 1990s. They were shopkeepers who served their neighbours, worked long hours, and built a life rooted in hard work, responsibility, and community.

My grandparents shaped me. Through their example, they instilled in me a belief that if you’re given the chance to serve your community, you do it with commitment, honesty, and graft.

Unlike some candidates standing in this constituency, I didn’t grow up in wealth or privilege.

I’m standing to be a strong local champion for hardworking people because I know how vital it is to have someone who genuinely understands your day-to-day struggles fighting your corner.

I would be honoured to earn your support and to serve as your committed local MSP.

On 7th May, we’re not just choosing a Scottish Government - we’re choosing who will represent our community on the issues that matter most.

The choice is simple: a politician out of touch with the realities facing families today, or someone who has lived those challenges, understands what this cost-of-living crisis really means and will stand up for you, your loved ones and Scotland.
